Can you buy property in Dubai with Bitcoin or USDT?
Short answer
Yes, at Trump Tower Dubai. Dar Global and the Trump Organization announced in 2025 that apartments in the tower can be paid for in Bitcoin and other digital currencies, through Deus X Pay, a licensed stablecoin payment firm. The price stays in dirhams, at the developer's published price, and the sale is registered at the Dubai Land Department like any other. RPRE arranges the purchase; we never receive, hold or convert your coins.

Key facts

What your crypto buys at Trump Tower Dubai.
Enter what you hold. We set it against the reservation, the booking payment and the full price of a 1-bedroom, at today's coin price.
Loading the coin price…
Indicative, not a quote. Dar Global's payment provider fixes the rate when you pay, and confirms the accepted coins and any conversion cost first. The 4% DLD fee may have to be paid in dirhams.
How it works
From wallet to title deed, in five steps.
Choose the unit
We confirm availability, floor and price with Dar Global, and get it in writing that the crypto route is open for your unit, which coins it takes and what conversion costs.
You pay the developer's published price. No fee to RPRE.
Show where it came from
The developer and its payment provider check your identity and the source of your crypto: exchange statements, wallet history and the income that bought it.
UAE rules require property deals paid in crypto to be reported to the financial intelligence unit, whatever the amount.
Get the instruction from the developer
The wallet address or payment link, the amount and the rate come only from Dar Global or its payment provider, in your reservation documents. We confirm them with Dar Global by phone.
Never from a chat message. Never to a personal wallet.
Pay from your wallet or exchange
You send the coins as instructed. The rate is fixed when you pay, so check the dirham amount before you confirm.
Keep the transaction hash and ask for a receipt in dirhams.
Register, then pay as it rises
The sale is registered with the Dubai Land Department, with the 4% DLD fee. The other instalments follow the plan as the tower is built, in crypto or dirhams as agreed.
Your title is a normal Dubai title. Crypto is only how you paid.
Our part
What we do, and what we never do.
What RPRE does
- Confirms in writing with Dar Global that the crypto route is open for your unit, which coins are accepted and any conversion cost.
- Prepares your source-of-funds file with you before anything is paid.
- Checks every payment instruction by phone with Dar Global.
- Follows the purchase to registration, and the instalments to handover.
What RPRE never does
- Receive, hold, swap or convert your crypto.
- Send a wallet address, payment link or bank details by WhatsApp or email.
- Ask you to pay into a personal wallet or account, ours or anyone's.
- Promise a price rise, a return or a resale.
Paying safely with crypto
- Copy the wallet address from the developer's document, never from a chat or your transaction history. Fraudsters plant look-alike addresses.
- Check that the network matches the instruction. The same coin sent on the wrong network can be lost.
- If anyone sends you a wallet address or bank details by message, even using our name, stop and call us on +92 300 269 7992.
- Keep every transaction hash and the provider's receipt. They belong in your purchase file.
Before you pay
The crypto-to-keys checklist.
The quickest crypto purchases are the ones with the paperwork ready before the payment instruction arrives. This is what the developer and its payment provider ask for.
- Identity. Passport, plus Emirates ID, CNIC or iqama if you hold one, and a recent proof of address.
- Where you bought it. Exchange statements in your name showing the purchases, with dates and prices.
- The trail. The wallet you will pay from, and the transfers that link it to those purchases.
- The money behind it. The salary, business income or sale proceeds that paid for the coins.
- Tax. Filings where you are tax-resident that show the holdings or gains, where they apply.
- What can stall it. Coins that passed through mixers, cash trades with no record, or exchanges that never checked your identity.
Not the same thing
Paying with crypto is not buying a token.
Dubai also runs a tokenised-property platform, Prypco Mint, set up with the Dubai Land Department and licensed by Dubai's virtual-assets regulator. The two are often confused.
| Trump Tower Dubai, paid in crypto | A token on Prypco Mint | |
|---|---|---|
| What you own | A whole apartment | A fraction of a ready property |
| Starting from | AED 3.62m, 24% due on booking | AED 2,000 |
| Record | Registered at the Dubai Land Department; title deed at handover | A Dubai Land Department token ownership certificate |
| Who can buy | Any nationality (freehold) | UAE residents when it launched in 2025; check before you plan |
| RPRE's role | We arrange it, at no fee to you | None; we can explain the difference |
If you live in Pakistan
- Pakistan's Virtual Assets Act 2026 requires crypto firms that serve people in Pakistan to be licensed by PVARA, the virtual-assets regulator. Use licensed providers.
- Moving value abroad also falls under Pakistan's foreign-exchange and tax rules. Take advice before you pay; we can introduce a lawyer.
- Overseas Pakistanis in the Gulf, the UK or the US follow the rules where they live, and the same source-of-funds checks apply.
Questions buyers ask
Straight answers, before the call.
01Which coins can I pay with?
The 2025 announcement named Bitcoin and other digital currencies, processed by a stablecoin payment firm. The exact list for your unit, and whether later instalments can also be paid in crypto, is confirmed in writing before you reserve.
02Is the price higher if I pay in crypto?
The unit is priced in dirhams at the developer's published price. How many coins that takes depends on the rate when you pay; any conversion or network cost is confirmed before you pay.
03Is my ownership any different?
No. Crypto is only the payment method. The sale is registered at the Dubai Land Department like any other, and the title deed follows at handover.
04Why do I have to show where my crypto came from?
UAE rules require it. Property deals paid in virtual assets, or with money converted from them, must be reported to the UAE's financial intelligence unit whatever the amount. A clean, documented trail is what gets the payment accepted quickly.
05What does RPRE charge?
Nothing. We are a contracted sales partner of Dar Global and the developer pays our fee. You pay the published price.
06Can I pay for other projects with crypto?
This page covers Trump Tower Dubai, where the developer announced crypto payments. For any other project we say yes only once the developer confirms it in writing.
